The majority of Paralegals work outside of the regulated sector and the PPR provides employers and the public with the ability to make informed choices when choosing a legal professional to assist them.

Our aim is to:

  • ensure that Paralegals meet high standards of work and service
  • provide a voluntary regulatory framework to protect consumers
  • identify and act on potential or actual risks

The Paralegal profession is able to provide an affordable and professional access to legal services. Paralegals under this register may be offering services as sole traders, Paralegal Practices, companies or be employed by HR departments; corporations; legal advice centres and many other forms.

The PPR boards and committees determine and operate our strategy.

We publish our reports and show how we make decisions.
